Reluctant Pair 2

One of my obcessions. This pairing has always been on my mind. Not exactly sure why.

I'm changing locations again. Life makes it necessary to move.
I figure I won't be able to post anything for a while due to that. That's fine, really. I don't like the paper and resources here anyway. Not for what I want at least. There are some things that just take time.

What's there to tell? I consider myself to be a bit like Young Indiana Jones, but without the whole getting shot at and speaking a billion languages kind of thing... though I think that would be cool. But anyway, I digress....

Just out of curiosity, how do you come up with your names for places in your Zormna story? Do you have any specific way, or do you just make them up? Unfortunately I'm not that good at those sorts of things, so any advice would be much appreciated.

The story is rather old. I used to play a game with my sister just making up sounds that sound like a similar language. Then we made up the language. The first few names were just random inventions. But as the story went along we started to make patterns, phonemes and all that. Depending upon where and when the story takes place changes the sounds of the names.
For example, if we are on Earth in the U.S. Places such as Pennington are just names of people I knew that I thought sounded like places to me. Alot of it is onomonopia (sp?)... the sound giving the impression. Arras sounds arid. Partha sounds more earthy. Pennington sounds like any little town. Beyond that I really can't say.

Well..I have this story called 'Blood Oracle' and its about five people (one of them being a vampire) on this huge conquest to destroy a powerful vampire overloard who has taken over Romania by a rein of fear. I was wondering if there is anyway you could draw some sort of cover or poster of it? Im actually planning on getting the story published and it could possibly become a cover for the book, with your premission of coarse. If not, we could also perform an 'art trade' if you like. I understand

I could do it. I need to know how big you want it, first off. I also need to have full descriptions of the most dynamic characters (hair color; hair cuts; eye color and shape, body shape and size, ethnicity, clothes styles, colors, and materials, and the usual supplies they carry), especially an idea of what you want to see on the poster/cover. Who should be the most prominent in the pic? How light or dark do you want it? I also need a sense of mood you are going for, i.e. Goth, humor, romantic, dynamic (action oriented); and a color scheme that appeals to you. Also an example of a cover from a book or poster to get an idea of what you are aiming for. A book cover has to be eyecatching but also give a mood for the story. I am not the best at it, but I like to play around with it. A poster has more leeway and can have more on it. Let me know what you think.
